Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using HarmonyFunds. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using HarmonyFunds, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and HarmonyFunds.

2. Description of Service

HarmonyFunds is a web-based expense tracking application that helps households manage shared expenses while keeping personal spending private. Our service allows you to:

Track shared household expenses with roommates, partners, or family members
Keep personal expenses private
Automatically calculate balances and amounts owed
Manage multiple households from one account
View transparent expense histories

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use HarmonyFunds. By using our service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Account Registration and Security

Registration

To use HarmonyFunds, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You agree to:

Provide truthful, accurate, and complete registration information
Maintain and promptly update your account information
Keep your password secure and confidential
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.

5. Subscription and Payment Terms

Subscription Price: $5.34 per month (billed monthly)

Payment Processing: All payments are securely processed through Digistore24, our authorized payment processor.

Billing

Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless cancelled
You will be charged on the same day each billing cycle
Payment must be made through valid payment methods accepted by Digistore24
You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify our subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after price changes constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with HarmonyFunds, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase.

How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time by:

Logging into your Digistore24 account and cancelling your subscription
Contacting our support team at hello@harmonyfunds.app

Cancellation Terms

Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period
You will retain access to HarmonyFunds until the end of your paid period
No refunds are provided for partial months (except during the 30-day guarantee period)
Upon cancellation, your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion

Refund Process

To request a refund within the 30-day guarantee period, contact hello@harmonyfunds.app with your purchase details. Refunds are processed through Digistore24 and typically take 5-10 business days to appear in your account.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use HarmonyFunds only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe upon the rights of others
Transmit any harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the service
Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
Use the service for any commercial purpose without our written permission
Share your account credentials with others

8. User Content and Data

Your Data

You retain all ownership rights to the expense data and information you enter into HarmonyFunds. By using our service, you grant us a license to use, store, and process your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving our service.

Privacy of Personal Expenses

Personal expenses marked as private are never shared with other household members. Only shared household expenses are visible to members of that specific household.

Data Accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy of all data you enter. HarmonyFunds is not responsible for any errors, discrepancies, or financial consequences resulting from inaccurate data entry.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of HarmonyFunds, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and design, are owned by HarmonyFunds and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our service without our express written permission.

10. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable and uninterrupted service, but we do not guarantee that:

The service will be available at all times without interruption
The service will be error-free or bug-free
Defects will be corrected immediately
The service will meet your specific requirements

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice.

11. Third-Party Services

HarmonyFunds uses Digistore24 as our payment processor. Your use of Digistore24's services is subject to their own terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the actions or policies of third-party service providers.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

HARMONYFUNDS IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements or that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HARMONYFUNDS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

Your use or inability to use the service
Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
Any interruption or cessation of the service
Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the service
Any errors or omissions in content or for any loss or damage incurred from use of any content

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HarmonyFunds and its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:

Your use of the service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any rights of another party
Any data or content you submit through the service

15. Termination

Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account.

Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe:

Violates these Terms or our policies
Harms other users or the service
Exposes us to legal liability
Is otherwise inappropriate

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. We will delete your data within 30 days of termination unless legally required to retain it longer.

16. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Arbitration

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court.

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by:

Posting the updated Terms on our website
Updating the "Last Updated" date
Sending an email notification to your registered email address

Your continued use of HarmonyFunds after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and HarmonyFunds regarding the use of our service and supersede any prior agreements.
